Role and Responsibilities

Planning and Scheduling

• Resource Forecasting

• Task Delegation and Supervision

• Communications: Reading / Writing Emails, Phone Calls, Meetings, etc.

• Reviewing and Confirming Deliverables

• Managing Owner Project Requirements and Project Scope Changes

• Direct reports to Operations Manager and Principals in Charge

• Team Management and Office Policy Enforcement

• Timesheet Review

• Financial Management of Project

• Business Development for Client Relationship Building

• Seller-Doer Managing New Opportunity Pursuits and Clients’ Requests for Additional Services

Required Qualifications

Team Leadership to exemplify excellence in attitude and aptitude taking initiative to create a better tomorrow

• A talent and enjoyment for working with a diverse group of personalities and skill levels

• Outstanding communication and people skills including verbal, writing, and applications of communication software tools

• 5 years minimum experience as Project Manager working on Federal Government Projects

• 10 years minimum experience as Designer / Engineer for MEP systems

• Enjoyment of work at a high tempo with precise execution

• Confidence and diplomacy on an active construction site speaking with Contractors while conducting professional observations

• A Bachelor of Science from an ABET accredited engineering educational program

• A soul that shines in the spirit of professionalism

Preferred Attributes

Experience with Deltek Software or other Project Management tools

• An active Professional Engineering (PE) license

• Strong knowledge of the Florida Building Codes, NFPA standards, and National Electrical Code

• Community Leadership with organizations that compliment FAE’s vision and core values

• LEED or WELL accredited professional

• Autodesk Revit software experience

• A natural and effective problem-solver excited in the face of a challenge

• Collaborative, Decisive, Persistent, Resilient, Systematic, Optimistic and Practical
